Repaired, altered, made to fit.

From a quick fix to a full alteration, we mend and remake clothing, curtains and soft furnishings by hand — so the things you love last longer.

What we can do

A few of the jobs that come into the studio — if it's stitched, just ask.

Repairs & mending

Broken zips, dropped hems, torn seams, missing buttons, moth holes and worn linings — brought back to life.

Alterations

Taking in, letting out, shortening and reshaping so your clothes fit the way you want them to.

Occasional wear

Formal outfit adjustments: dresses, suits, shirts and accessories for those important moments.

Curtains & soft furnishings

Curtains, blinds, cushions and covers — relined, rehemmed, resized and beautifully refreshed for your home.

How it works

No appointment, no fuss — just bring it in.

  1. Bring it in

Pop into the studio with your item — no appointment needed during opening hours.

  2. We talk it through

We'll look it over together, agree what's needed and give you an estimated price and timescale.

  3. Collect it ready

We'll let you know when it's done — repaired, altered and ready to use again.

Good to know

Do I need an appointment?

No — just drop in during opening hours and we'll take a look. For bigger undertakings, it's worth calling ahead and booking an appointment.

How much will it cost?

As every job is bespoke, we always discuss this before starting — up-to-date price lists are available on enquiry.

How long does it take?

Simple repairs are often quick; alterations and bespoke work take a little longer. We'll agree a timescale when you drop off.
